Ross Taylor began his improv career at the University of Missouri where he majored in Theatre. He spent seven years in New York City, studying improv at UCB and Magnet Theater, performing on house teams and musical house teams all over the city and touring regionally with Baby Wants Candy. He taught improv and musical improv at Magnet Theater for three years, and after three Second City ship contracts, he moved to Chicago. He is currently a member of the National Touring Company, and has understudied the etc production Fantastic Super Great Nation Numero Uno as well as Louder, Faster, Wagner which ran at the Lyric Opera House. He has performed multi-week runs at the Kennedy Center with original Second City productions and performs regularly with Baby Wants Candy and Shamilton. He has directed several Coached Ensemble and Sketch Cast groups and looks forward to becoming familiar faculty at the Second City Training Center.
