A Message to Patrons of The Second City Hollywood

The Second City cares about the safety and wellness of our audience members, students, staff, and performers above all else.

Along with the rest of the nation, we are actively monitoring updates regarding the spread of COVID-19 (that’s “coronavirus” to all of you laypersons) via the CDC and the Los Angeles Department of Public Health. We are continuing to implement preventative measures and maintaining general healthy best practices recommended by public health authorities in our facilities, including our all theaters, classrooms, and offices. Yes, and additional hand sanitizer has been placed around the building.

As a company founded in the principles of improvisation, we at The Second City are working to be flexible, responsive, and adaptive when it comes to making decisions based on changing circumstances. Finally, we encourage everyone who enters our doors to use common sense to stay healthy. Just like your mother always told you, wash your hands often and cover your coughs and sneezes. If you are not feeling well or are experiencing symptoms that might cause your bodily secretions to spray on to another person or persons, be smart. In this case, comedy is not the best medicine.
