Megan Hovde has been a performer, writer and teacher at the Second City for 18 years. She was a proud member of the Second City Novi (Detroit) Mainstage, as a writer and performer in Michigan Impossible: All Laid Off and Nowhere to Go. At the Second City Chicago, she toured with Second City National Touring Company, was an understudy for the Mainstage and ETC, hosted/performed in Second City's Game Night, and currently does shows and workshops for Second City Works. For a bit she lived in NYC and taught at UCB. (That rhymes!) Over the years, she has performed at other theaters in Chicago including iO Chicago and the Annoyance, and also as a part of film projects and in a bunch of internet commercials. If you want, you can find her in a short called Pants, and or in short film, labor of love: Across the Sky, www.acrosstheskyfilm.com. At the Second City Training Center she teaches in the improv program, the writing program and in the Conservatory.
