James Gangl

James Gangl is a comedian, writer, storyteller and arborist.  He won a Canadian Comedy Award for Best One Person Show for Sex, Religion & Other Hang-ups.

James teaches improvisation at the legendary Second City in Los Angeles and was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award as Best Male Improviser. His recent TV credits include Workin’ Moms (CBC), Saving Hope (CTV, ION), Odd Squad (PBS, TVO), Dark Matter (SyFy, Space) and Annedroids (Amazon, TVO). James also writes for Odd Squad, was a regular contributor to Definitely Not The Opera (CBC Radio), is a StorySlam Champion of The Moth and appears on RISK! Storytelling.
