GRANT ROBBIN (formerly Harv Robbin) has been frequently referred to by the media as a “Renaissance Man,” whose accomplishment span the arts, academia and business. He wrote the book, music and lyrics for GAUGUIN, THE LEGACY and THE PALETTE OF MY LIFE. GAUGUIN was originally optioned by Hallmark Hall of Fame, then produced for the stage at McCormick Place and Chopin Theatre. Grant is a former Second City actor; singer-composer, two specials on PBS – GRANT ROBBIN IN CONCERT (PART I AND PART II), concerts, nightclubs, performer on National Canadian Television; director of children’s plays that toured the Chicago Public Schools, artist-in residence at colleges around the country; producer of theatre, television and numerous seminars at Northwestern University on writing for film and television that included Oscar and Emmy-Award winners; professor of Advanced Screenwriting and Art/Design at Columbia College, lecturer at ISA International Screenwriters Association) and CSN (Chicago Screenwriters Network); creator of IRONIX, five star-rated book on Amazon; business consultant on advertising and marketing; recipient of scholarships to the Art Institute of Chicago at ages eight and twelve; member of the Dramatists Guild and TRU.
